I saw you in a dream and we were on a ferris wheel after a summer rain, circling the limitless yellow sky. Below us were flowers of every bright and wonderful color, spread out across the courtyard fields like a massive blanket. I shared an ice cream sandwich with you, and sips from a frosty soda. Up there in the sky, birds flew past us and smiled. You smiled back and I smiled too.
