The Manwolfs from Machotaildrop invaded WK last night for first thursday. They put on a little performance and were skating in the lobby. It was one of the more packed first Thursday events I’ve been to. More photos after the jump.

Barbara Kruger’s never really talked about
Supreme , the skate company who’s been ripping off her ideas and prints letter for letter, color for color, for their red-and-white logo, which you have seen, because it is everywhere.
I emailed her casually to ask her about this.
And today, she got back to me, and gave a candid statement on the matter of Supreme for the first time, ever, really. By emailing me a blank email, with an attachment. Which you can see above.
CHRIS SMITH OF KARP PLAYING MY LES PAUL JR. OLYMPIA 1997
When I saw this photo posted on my Facebook feed my mind immediately went back to the night it was taken at The Capitol Theater in Olympia, WA. on the last night of 1997’s Yo-Yo-A-Go-Go Festival. KARP were a truly fantastic band on an average night but when they were on fire like they were this night they were as a good a band as I’ve ever seen and that’s saying something because I have had the privilege of seeing some
really great bands.
